1396 in Lüneburg: A few years ago, the construction of the Stecknitz Canal began in order to bring the precious salt from Lüneburg to Lübeck in large quantities. By land, the horse-drawn carts take several weeks and can only carry 2 tons of salt each. But the canal construction was in danger of failing! Due to a trade war, Heinrich of Lüneburg had stones poured into the Elbe at the estuary of the canal to block the entrance! Now it's up to you to keep the peace and find a solution so that trade can continue to flourish and Lüneburg can prosper!
