The prince-bishop is merciless and has the accused witches and sorcerers tortured and burned. Barbara Schwarz, a innkeeper from Bamberg, has escaped the darkness of the dungeon and begs Emperor Ferdinand for mercy. Can he grant her request and acquit her? What do the court documents say? You are tasked with investigating Barbara Schwarz's case and finding out whether she made a pact with the devil. Will you manage to prove her innocence? Or will she also find her way into the flames?
